Cover your golf greens this winter with Enkamat® 7010, a three-dimensional lofty matrix that provides a protective layer over vulnerable turf. Enkamat prevents the formation of an ice layer over greens that can seal turf, and prevent gas and oxygen exchange that is vital to turf health.
Enkamat 7010 is made with woven nylon filament and features an open aperture to prevent ice from forming in a sheet. The lightweight cover does not prohibit the infiltration of water into greens, and installs easily with minimal labor.
Enkamat 7010 installation is easy—just four simple steps protect your greens year after year, ahead of winter weather and potential ice damage.
Step One: Roll out Enkamat 7010 in strips across your green
Step Two: Cut the Enkamat to fit the contour of your green, making sure to go slightly past the edges for complete coverage
Step Three: Anchor the Enkamat into the green, using staples from your local Enkamat distributor
Step Four: At the end of the winter, remove Enkamat from the green, being careful to label or number the pieces for easy reinstallation the following year!
This solution has already proven to be effective for courses like The Country Club’s Brookline Course 1 in Chestnut Hill, Mass., and for Manchester Country Club.
