International Erosion Control Association Elects Adam Dibble to 2016-2019 Board of Directors

The International Erosion Control Association Region One membership voted to newly elect Adam Dibble, CPESC to the 2016‐2019 Board of Directors.

Adam Dibble, Senior Marketing Manager/Erosion Control Brand Manager, has been with Profile Products for nearly six years and holds bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. In December 2014, Dibble received the CESSWI designation and in July of 2015 was recognized by Storm Water Solutions as one of the “Rising Stars” The Next Generation of Industry Leaders.

Dibble works across all of Profile Products business units as the senior marketing manager. His primary responsibility is with the erosion and vegetative solutions business, emphasizing the creation and implementation of value‐added education and marketing programs. In addition to marketing initiatives, he is the brand manager and responsible for the overall direction and support of the company’s erosion control business.

“Just being nominated was truly an accomplishment and now being elected and having the ability to be a contributor on the Board of Directors really motivates me,” says Dibble. “I think the IECA is the pinnacle of professionalism in our industry and having the ability to help promote, guide and implement programs and policies that will benefit the entire membership is an amazing chance. I know that I will bring a fresh perspective and new ideas to the organization and I look forward to helping create more awareness and increasing our membership over my term,” Dibble concludes.

The IECA Region One Board of Directors is made up of nine members, each serving a three‐year term. Board officer positions will be decided at the Board meeting to be held at Environmental Connection 2016, IECA’s annual conference and expo, February 16‐19, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas.

Profile Products’ John Maeder Recognized by ASGCA

John Maeder (left) is presented with a commemorative plaque on behalf of the ASGCA.The American Society of Golf Course Architects acknowledged John Maeder, Profile Products’ golf business manager, for his contributions and commitment to the game of golf. Maeder was invited to participate in and share his expertise at the first-ever Donald Ross Roundtable during the ASGCA’s annual meeting in March 2015, held at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California. Following the roundtable, Rick Robbins, past president of the ASGCA from 2013-14, presented Maeder with a plaque to commemorate the inaugural event.

The goal of the roundtable is to have an open dialogue on the state of the golf industry, the direction of the ASGCA and the role of members and partners in furthering the organization’s goals.

Profile Golf™ is a proud, longtime partner of the ASGCA in industry education. Since 2012, the groups have worked together to create new educational programming and tools to help ASGCA members work more effectively in golf course development and remodeling.

Profile Golf also offers a portfolio of products designed to establish, maintain and improve the turf and vegetation of every part of a course. Profile experts also provide consultative resources for root zone enhancement, erosion control and vegetative establishment. The company offers workshops on soil structure and chemistry, and how to establish soil as a healthy foundation for more reliable, sustainable grow-ins. There is also an exclusive online challenge/solutions gallery for ASGCA members to help architects learn from each others’ project experiences.

“At Profile, we’re increasingly proud of our support of the ASGCA and feel our relationship with its membership has been strengthened through opportunities like the Donald Ross Roundtable,” said Maeder. “We look forward to participating in the future and contributing our thoughts, wherever possible, to help the golf industry thrive."
