Agricultural Research Specialist Will Oversee Profile Soil Solutions Software Testing, Technical Product Information Requests

Profile Products today announced the hiring of Rachel Higgins as Technical Services Associate, reporting to Marc S. Theisen, Vice President, Business Development and Technical Services. Higgins, an agricultural engineer with experience in field research and watershed monitoring, is expected to manage soil testing for Profile customers under the Profile Soil Solutions Software (PS³) program, among other technical duties.

Higgins joins Profile Products from the Prairie Research Institute, a multidisciplinary research institute established by the State of Illinois and located in Champaign-Urbana, where she was a field research specialist.

“The PS³ program is an important Profile service, providing customers with information and recommendations on soil improvement, erosion and sediment control, and vegetation establishment. Rachel Higgins has the deep expertise necessary to successfully administer this program,” said Theisen. “Our customers will benefit from the knowledge and experience Rachel brings to the PS³ program.”

In addition to her PS³ duties, Higgins will provide technical product information to Profile customers. She graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural and biological engineering.
