Lauren Deem, CPESC, CESSWI, technical services manager at Profile® Products, has been named a 2025 Emerging Leader by Stormwater Solutions magazine. The award is given to rising stars in the stormwater and erosion control industries. 

Deem’s strong leadership, technical expertise and commitment to advancing sustainable best practices contributed to her nomination. At Profile Products, she leads the team’s Profile PS3 software, a tool that provides tailored recommendations for site-specific soil conditions. Under her leadership, Profile has refined its analysis process to deliver the most accurate results, ensuring successful vegetation establishment for thousands of customers. She has also been influential in developing training initiatives on wildlife-friendly revegetation strategies and raising awareness about the importance of considering sustainable methods for stormwater and erosion control.

Outside of her job, Deem is dedicated to educating and developing the next generation of stormwater and erosion control professionals. She is an active member of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA), where she currently serves on the Young Professionals Committee and as the Mississippi representative for the Southeast Chapter. In her spare time, she mentors students about careers in environmental science, stormwater management and erosion control.
